hemivette; back for more
Well, hello again everybody! I was having some login issues, but our favorite Sister figured them out.
So now I will re-introduce myself. Im hemivette, and I have been growing for many years. I have experience in dirt, and hydro, with my current setup being a bleacher style, areoponic system. My space is a 4x4x7, and I use a SolarStorm, and a 600w HPS. I enjoy designing and building systems, and will gladly help anyone with there system, and or grow. So feel free to ask me anything. Peace! h

HV has a couple of journals in the other forums and a sweet Corvette too. He'll fit in here.
Hey HV, what do you think of the place now? Am I missing anything? Anything I shouldn't have?

Thanks for the welcome guys! Im always happy to help anyone I can.
Thanks GT! Live every minute like it was your last! Site looks good, I will let you know if I discover something that isnt right, or could be better. Hey while I got you, Im not getting any notifications/emails when someone replies to a thread Ive answered. Did I miss something in my signup? Ive looked at my settings, and I didnt see anything there. Peace my friend! h

It could be my host with some delay delivering or a delay in your email server. Check spam filters and whitelist the gt domain maybe?
Re: hemivette; back for more
Still nothing. Maybe you can let me know if someone asks a question, until we figure it out? Peace brother! h

Are you sure that you're subscribed to topics that you replied to?
There are a few settings that you might check in the UCP: If those are set to deliver notifications, then I'll have to test something else but I think *some* people are getting notifications (PM/subscribed topics/etc) so it might not be on my end. We'll need to do some more testing when you're around.
EDIT:
I tested PM notifications between SME and GT and it seems email is broken so I opened a ticket with my host. I'll test different settings too but it might be out of my hands and it could require a host change.

Howdy, HV. Pleased to meet you. I don't get most notifications either even though I have that chosen as a default. Instead of bugging GT about it too much, I just learned to check the "notify me when a reply is posted" option below the text box. Notification otherwise has been sporadic but it's not a big thing. I just have to remember to check the forum periodically and that's not a problem since I don't have anything else to do anyway.GrowTutor » Sun Dec 22, 2013 4:49 pm wrote:I think it might be fixed now...
