Thanx for the info Hemi...and opinions/advice are always welcome! It looks like you have a jam-up system! Very nice!
My Cloner had been cleaned with bleach and stored on it's box for about 3 months...so after a good rinsing with hot water I felt it was bacteria free. I have always made the final cut at 45, never heard to cut em straight for hydro...but I will be trying that next round. These were cut at 45.. In the past most clips have taken the better part of 2 weeks to sprout roots, but I usually have 90-100% of them sprout for me. I don't spray the leaves often, but what you are saying makes sense, so I will go without it and see.
I run an Aeroflo and had read that RW has been know to clog sprayers, filters and stuff...so I have been using it just for seed starts in DWC tubs. And on this start I modified the RW cube so it could be removed after the sprout got established. Dunno if it will work every time, but it worked this time... Anything that is going into the Aeroflo is just the clone & hydroton in the net-pot.
Thanx again!
Happy
