Member registration problem?

Hey SME,

The online friend who's recipe I use for GD tried to register and is telling me that the site is not sending him the validation email to activate his account...

Didn't know if he needed something more than the www or if something isn't working right.....

I see his account waiting for activation so I sent a "reminder" email, ask him to check his spam folder in case it's blocking my domain or host IP.

Let me know if he doesn't get it...

It was still unactivated so I manually activated his account, that way he can join in here while I'm gone. He still needs to figure out why he didn't get the email though because some forum features require email. Perhaps it was a type-o or something in the email address, he can check his profile.

Thank you both. I never did get any of the emails and the address is correct in my profile. I'll give it a while and if it still doesn't work, I'll use a different one. Thanks again.

SME, Glad you helped out with the registration...Sam is someone I met on another site related to MJ. He has a bunch of easy recipes for MMJ...both for medical purpose and stoner affects...

I hope he is a nice addition here....I know he will contribute...and he is very helpful in answering questions about his recipes...

Check your spam filter and try to whitelist the growtutor.com domain, that might help.

Thanks. I appreciate it. The email address accepts all incoming but it's a narrow banded freebie and I may have to fool around with it a bit. Not a big deal. I'm looking forward to the new community and will do my best to be a good citizen.

Edit: I just got several emails from the site so I guess it's good to go.

Do me a favor and check the headers to see what IP(s) the emails came from?
