Re: GTGD - Experiment #1
I've gotten KleenXtract and recommend it even for tinctures. I wanted to try it to make sure it could be used "wet" and even had a chemist check out the MSDS. It's food grade. You have to be careful with the 100% because of the drying agents being used. Besides it hygroscopic so it acquire...

Is there a way to make the images smaller? Or maybe thumbnails that would expand when clicked? I've tried these buttons across the top but they don't seem to make much difference. I use a heck of a lot of pictures for my guides and this size image makes it difficult to place them where needed. Just ...

Re: Natural Decarboxylation Testing Program
Now we get into the first set of the natural decarboxylation comparisons and this is what this project is about. The previously posted samples were the foundation and now we get to the real action. You've seen the first one in the previous set comparing the natural evaporation and the heated evapora...

Re: Natural Decarboxylation Testing Program
Before we move on to more test results I'd like to provide some easy to understand graphics about the effects of the various cannabinoids and terpenoids we'll be encountering during the course of the project. You may have seen these elsewhere but I got them from one of the labs I've used and it's in...

Re: Natural Decarboxylation Testing Program
This next set of tests is to give a basic idea of the extraction rate of the process I use to make my tincture as well as a first glimpse at the types of things we'll be looking at over the course of the project. Like the previous ones, this is just laying a foundation for the future. These are from...

Re: GTGD - Experiment #1
I did post the guide for the 151 kief GD. Give that a try the next time. It works really, really well.

Re: Natural Decarboxylation Testing Program
The first step to successful edibles is a process called decarboxylation, which is a big word for activate. When cannabis is smoked or vaped, that process is accomplished by the heat source at that instant and the vapors are inhaled and the activated cannabinoids are immediately uploaded into your s...

Re: GTGD - Experiment #1
You're saying that you water cured your buds first? I'm surprised that you were able to reduce it so much without it separating into layers. You'll make a much better 151 GD if you use kief. I thought I added that guide here but if not, I will. I guarantee you the ride of your life, compared to what...

Re: GTEL (E-Liquid) Experiments
I thought it sounded like you were trying to transfer it. 151 is pretty lousy for that. Let me see if I have this right. You made some 151 GD. How? Did you soak it or did you soak it in vg/pg? I seem to be missing something here. Depending on the answer, you have different factors at play. I have le...
